Rather than treating their subjects with sensitivity and empathy, they sometimes prioritize capturing sensational content to attract viewers. This approach can involve asking overly intrusive questions, potentially exploiting people’s emotions, which crosses ethical boundaries and manipulates the story. Such actions compromise journalistic integrity and can cause additional distress to people already suffering.
